Rabbit Sunbathing Diary

When the morning light hits our floor, Croissant claims a rectangle of sun like a bookmark. I watch how he stretches ears, shifts weight, and when he decides the heat is enough.

Why sunlight matters

Gentle sun supports vitamin D metabolism and keeps his circadian rhythm steady. I limit exposure to 10–20 minutes per patch, avoiding midday glare.

Surfaces and safety

He rests on a cotton mat to avoid overheating paws. I place a water bowl and a shaded corner within two hops so he can cool off.

Body cues I track

Ears opening and slow breathing mean comfortable; rapid breathing or ear-flattening means we move to shade. If the floor warms, I rotate the mat.

Export and handoff

I sketch his sun pose and move the outline into Rabbit Daylife Grid for a four-panel story, or into Rabbit Wallpaper Studio for a warm-light pattern. For portraits, I send the relaxed head tilt to Bunny Avatar Studio.
